Andy Wilkinson is Stoke's one major fitness doubt. The defender is struggling with knee and calf problems and, although he was fit enough to play in the 3-1 Premier League victory over Blackburn on Saturday, he is still touch and go. Cameron Jerome is available again after serving his one-game European ban, while goalkeeper Asmir Begovic will hope for a run-out after seeing Thomas Sorensen take over the number one spot in the Premier League.

Dynamo will be able to count on Ukraine internationals Artem Milevskiy and Oleksandr Aliyev for the trip to England. The pair are serving domestic suspensions, although striker Milevskiy is set to start from the bench with Andriy Shevchenko expected to lead the line.

Tony Pulis (Stoke): "You have to understand their workload and we have played 10 more midweek games than most teams in the Premier League. You have to deal with it and work with it. At the moment we have not dealt with it very well in respect of the third game (in a week) and we have to make sure if we can get it right we will."

Yuri Semin (Dynamo): "This is a very important, very serious game. Stoke have a certain style of play. They are physically very well prepared and have a very strong team. Our goal is to win the game, but that is going to be hard."
