TEAM NEWS
Everton manager David Moyes is hoping some of his injured players will be fit enough to return to action. The Scot had been optimistic midfielder Jack Rodwell (rib) and defenders Phil Neville (hamstring) and Sylvain Distin (groin) would be in contention for last weekend's victory over Bolton but they all missed out. Apostolos Vellios scored his third goal for the club as a substitute at the Reebok Stadium and is pushing for a start.
Stoke boss Tony Pulis will shuffle his pack again. The Welshman made eight changes from the side that beat Blackburn last weekend for the 1-1 draw with Dynamo Kiev in the Europa League and most of the players he rested are likely to come back in. Andy Wilkinson (calf and knee) remains a doubt while Jonathan Woodgate, who is ineligible in Europe, returns to the squad.

MANAGER QUOTES
David Moyes: “You start talking about things like fitness and keeping on going and desire and I hope we have got all of that. I would probably hope that we were winning games a bit earlier than that if that is the case as it is hard for the manager. Maybe it is that the players are coming off the bench and having an impact and that is also pleasing if that is the case."
Tony Pulis: "It's the first time we've been in Europe for more than 30 years. You can wash it away, but I don't want to wash it away, I want to enjoy it, I want the supporters to enjoy it, I want everybody at the football club to enjoy it because we might not get it for a while again. It's the first time this football club's ever achieved this, so it's another milestone and is testimony to everything we're trying to do."
